# Terms of Use *Last updated: 13 April 2026* ## 1. Agreement to Terms Thank you for using **gftv.asia**, the official short link platform operated by Global Furry Television ("GFTV"). By accessing or using any part of this Service, you unconditionally agree and accept to be legally bound by these Terms of Use and any amendments made to them from time to time. GovTech reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at its sole discretion and your continued use of this Service constitutes your agreement to all such changes. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use this Service or any part of it. ## 2. Nature of the Service gftv.asia is a **restricted link-shortening platform** operated by GFTV for internal use by verified GFTV officers (staff, volunteers, and other personnel operating under the GFTV banner). It is not a general-purpose link shortener open to the public. Access to link-creation functionality requires approval by a GFTV administrator. Unapproved visitors may browse the public link directory but may not create or manage links. GFTV reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or revoke access to any account at any time, with or without notice, including where it determines that a user no longer meets the eligibility criteria for GFTV officer status. ## 3. Permitted Use You agree to use this Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with GFTV's [Community Charter](https://policy.globalfurry.tv) and all applicable laws and regulations. You must not use this Service to: * Create short links that redirect to content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; * Impersonate GFTV or any GFTV officer, or misrepresent your association with GFTV; * Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the Service; * Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, phishing content, or any other malicious material; * Scrape, crawl, or otherwise automatically extract data from the Service without prior written authorisation from GFTV; or * Use the Service in any way that could damage, overburden, impair, or compromise the Service or its infrastructure. ## 4. Proprietary Rights ### 4.1 Intellectual Property The Service, including all software, graphics, text, and other materials made available on or through gftv.asia, is owned by or licensed to GFTV. All rights are reserved. Short links and their associated destination URLs remain the responsibility of the GFTV officer who created them. GFTV does not claim ownership over destination content that links point to; however, GFTV reserves the right to deactivate any link that it determines violates these Terms of Use or GFTV's Community Charter. ### 4.2 Open Source Licence The source code underlying the gftv.asia portal is made available under an open source licence as set out in the [GitHub repository](https://github.com/augy-studios/gftv-redirects-portal). Nothing in these Terms of Use limits the rights conferred by that licence. ### 4.3 GFTV Marks The GFTV name, logo, and related marks are the property of GFTV. You may not use them without prior written consent from GFTV, except as strictly necessary to describe your affiliation with GFTV in your capacity as a GFTV officer. ## 5. Disclaimer of Warranties The Service is provided on an **"as is" and "as available" basis**. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GFTV makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, in relation to the Service, including but not limited to: * the accuracy, completeness, correctness, currency, or reliability of any information accessible via the Service or any short link created through the Service; * the availability or uninterrupted operation of the Service; * the security of the Service or the absence of viruses or other harmful components; or * the fitness of the Service for any particular purpose. You assume all risks arising from your access to or use of the Service and any content accessible through it. ## 6. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GFTV and its officers, volunteers, agents, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with: * your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service; * any content or link accessible through the Service; * any unauthorised access to or use of GFTV's servers or any data stored therein; or * any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service. This limitation applies regardless of whether GFTV has been advised of the possibility of such damages. ## 7. Third-Party Links and Content Short links created on gftv.asia redirect visitors to third-party websites and content. GFTV is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or policies of any third-party site, and access to any linked destination is at the visitor's own risk. The existence of a short link on gftv.asia does not constitute GFTV's endorsement of the destination content. However, because link creation is restricted to approved GFTV officers, visitors can have reasonable confidence that links were created with legitimate intent. ## 9. Right to Amend GFTV reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time and at its sole discretion. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Use. ## 10. Severability If any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. ## 11.
